Anthony G Alexander was about to turn 62 years old, and he had received a restraining order the day before he chased and murdered Jennifer Fitzpatrick with a shotgun.

Alexander was in front of Jennifer's residence as kids in the neighborhood were walking to school and that didn't stop him from firing and hitting her while she ran. Their 4 year old also witnessed the murder.

Colleen Fitzpatrick mourns her daughter and will now concentrate on raising her four grandchildren.

Jennifer Fitzpatrick used to work for and have an 8 year on again off again relationship with Alexander.

Wow. That's horrible. and 62 years old? It's not very often you hear of somebody that age murdering somebody.

After listening to relatively brief closing arguments, Common Pleas Court Judge Glenn B. Bronson convicted Anthony Alexander, 62, and sentenced him to the mandatory term of life in prison without parole for the Feb. 26, 2013, murder of Jennifer Fitzpatrick, 37.
