There are over 100 juror questions that will be reviewed by the attorneys at 0900 and 1000. The jury will return at 1:00 Arizona time. Continue the discussion here
 
Today is scheduled as follows:

09:00am MST - Off camera:
  • Defense will review the jurors questions, along with their client
10:00am MST - Off camera:
  • State will review the jurors questions
11:00am MST - On camera:
  • Judge will hold in open court, without the jury present, argument to any jurors questions either side feels should or should not be asked
01:00pm MST - On camera:
  • Jury present
  • The judge will read the jurors questions to the defendant
  • The defense will have the opportunity to ask the defendant follow up questions.
  • The state will have the opportunity to ask the defendant follow up questions.
  • The jurors will have the opportunity to ask any further questions, if they feel necessary
  • Hopefully we will never have to hear from this defendant ever again (hopefully she won't take the stand during the penalty phase, we can dream)

I do truly believe he thought she had left his house and she made her way back in with the gun. She shot him after the last pic of Travis' shocked look and the flash.

None of the pics prior to the last "accidental" one have a flash. They are also very shaky and crap quality and Jodi claims she is a photographer?!! pffffttt

I only watched part of the ME testimony. IIRC, he said that the shot likely didn't immediately incapacitate Travis, and he could have moved around for a bit. Det. Flores testified the ME initially told him the gun shot was the first injury, but the ME (I think) disputes that. Jodi/Nurmi want the shot to be first, so they can claim Travis was still coming after her - justifying the subsequent stabbings.

The ME said that the gunshot or the slit throat would have immediately incapacitate him. He said only the stab to the heart would not immediately incapacitate him. He thinks its very likely that Travis was already dead when the gun shot happened.

Imagine hearing your ex, who you had just been talking to, was brutally murdered?
I'd be a mess!
I mean, I understand people process things differently but she's just lying, all calmly.

Looking at the pic I'm linking, I think it would have been a difficult angle. She could've been lurking in the hall as well, I guess, but the shots seem taken head on. However, I tend to agree with you. I can't work out how she did it (unless she was hiding in the linen closet which is directly across from the shower) but I don't think he was aware she was still even there.

regarding the pristine casing in the blood:

remember the other day she tried to tell a story to explain this and didn't get far with it? she said something like 'that's not how that happened' and JM cut her off. i figured nurmi may revisit that.

but i think even big boy understands that once the 'fog' set in, she couldn't POSSIBLY have remembered that little detail and had any credibility at all so he didn't let her go there. it only would've emphasized that her fog was pretty intermittent, and only 'lifted' when it served her purpose.

and IMO, it was a mistake for him to ask her how she felt when she dropped the knife. the fog seems to have magically lifted there too, since she said it was a 'horrible feeling.'

i've been in lots of fog. when it lifts, it doesn't come back. :waitasec:
 
Number ONE question from the Jury should be -
16 days on the stand! Why are we wasting all this public money?
