Michigan State Police searching for teen who may be with man she met online

Isha Greir of St. Clair County hasn't been heard from since Feb. 26

CAPAC, Mich. -
Michigan State Police are looking for a 15-year-old Michigan girl who has been missing since reportedly going to meet a man she met online.

Police said Isha Greir from Riley Township -- which is in northern St. Clair County -- hasn’t been seen or heard from since Feb. 26.

The girl – Isha Greir, 15 – went to a Roseville motel with a man on Feb. 26 but has had no contact with her family since then, police say.

“She was hooking up with an adult male on Facebook,” Young said. “She doesn’t have a phone and her Facebook account shows no activity since she went missing Feb. 26.”

Greir began attending the Crossroads Alternative Education School in Capac about eight weeks ago. Police said she attended school Feb. 26 but failed to return home. Her family has not seen or heard from her since, Young said.

Police believe Grier returned to Capac early Feb. 27 and was seen about 10 a.m. by at least one witness.

There's not much there, but from the little I did read - I'm seriously wondering if there was any parental supervision. She would have been a few years younger when making some of the posts.

And, why the delay in reporting her missing??? :banghead:

Wonder if the baby in her FB album is her child? Asking only because the dad might possibly be somehow involved. Just a theory.

Maybe like alcohol they cant use it till they are 21 LOL!

:( Why can't our baby girls just grow up to be women? Why are there sick men everywhere
forcing them to grow up early ? I'm so discouraged by the last months' slew of missing/kidnapped/killed girls in this age group . Horrifying.

I'm sorry I have nothing useful or sleuthful to say at this time.
 
I believe Isha's last name is spelled Grier? I have seen different versions in MSM articles. :(
 
She's been gone a long time now :(
 
Isha disappeared very near where I live and this is the first I have heard of it. :(

I find it very hard to believe she doesn't have a phone! About 70% of her FB friends have profile photos which show them taking the photo of themselves with the phone in the mirror! Most of friends listed in her "high school friend list" are the same.

They must know the idenity of the adult male, now they must get in contact with her family & friends ASAP.
 
I live in this area and haven't seen/heard much about this. If she doesn't have a phone that could be a huge handicap as how many phone numbers do people memorize nowadays?

If she went to a Roseville hotel with him, the gas station in question is most likely the one on 11 Mile and Gratiot, there's a McDonalds on the opposite corner. It's Also a main freeway junction in the area. Wish there was more info to work with on this...

Per law enforcement - I'sha was last seen at the BP station/McDonalds meeting with a person she had met on Facebook.

Do they not know who she met with and why not post his mug on the news so somebody could identify him? He must be seen on a camera?? If she didn't have a phone, she had to be communicating via FB. This makes no sense. I see nothing else on her.
