This is Dylan Redwine's subforum. Please note that new threads can only be opened with the permission of a moderator.

The rules for this case change often. Know that normal Websleuths rules always apply, but some cases have more specific rules. Those can be found at the beginning of each new thread and we also try to keep them updated for you here. If you have a question about the rules, this is where you ask. Or you can contact a mod privately. Do not disrupt the case conversation if you can help it. Do not ever call out the mods or your fellow posters.

We are going to open discussion and sleuthing on Dylan's father Mark Redwine although he has not been named a person of interest. More often than not, we are finding that LE is reluctant to name a POI unless and until an arrest is imminent. However, the actions of LE may often times speak louder than words and for this reason, we are now going to allow discussion about Dylan's father.

Any questions or concerns with the above? Please personal message a moderator or administrator.

All opinions are welcome, please don't talk about being on one team or another. We all want the same thing... Dylan to be found safe and brought home!!!

Be sure you know the rules before you post!
Whether you know them or not, you are held accountable for them!

We do not know what happened to Dylan or who is responsible. It is not a foregone conclusion that MR is responsible for the disappearance of his son.

We are web sleuths and as web sleuths, we'd like to see any and all possibilities as to what may have happened to Dylan discussed here. Any members chastising other members for putting forth alternative theories will be hit with hefty timeouts.

All reasonable theories and discussion of facts are welcome in this thread.

Please carry on and let's do what we do best.

    Thank you.

The mods understand that frustration is high but you need to put this in prespective. While things look hinky, LE has not named MR a POI or a Suspect and LE has a lot more information than we do. MR is still a parent and as such, until LE or MSM tell us different, he is entitled to some respect here.

Discuss his comments, discuss contradictions if you see them, but leave the ranting off the thread please.

As always, if you have questions, pm a mod.

    Thanks,

    Salem

All the above are rules most of you have seen before. Look here to refresh your memories please!!!

Here we go with the new guidelines...ready?

We are not digging around in anyone's past that has nothing to do with Dylan going missing. If mom, brother, aunt, neighbor or the dog robbed Fort Knox, it doesn't need to be posted here. This is about finding DYLAN.

The same applies to Dylan's dad BEFORE Dylan went to see him in November. UNLESS something from his past is pertinent to the events just before and since Dylan went missing, leave information you find in your back pocket. MR is still not a named POI by LE or for intents and purposes on Websleuths.

If you have questions about the guidelines, you may respectfully post them here. If you understand and don't like the decisions made, you may contact a moderator, administrator or owner privately.

Thank you all for caring so much about DYLAN!

The forum for Dylan Redwine is temporarily closed. This is due to bickering among members and disrespect toward our volunteer moderators.

There comes a point in each case when you will not be able to change anyone's minds.
Do you have to agree with other posters? NO. Do you have to be kind to other posters? YES.

If you and another poster are having a debate and one says "we have to agree to disagree" - the debate is over with that poster.

If another poster in here just drives you nuts with their point of view and you can't stand it anymore, you have two choices. You can either pass by their posts without looking or you can use the ignore feature. Please review the rules about the ignore feature here --->Best Practices Dealing with your fellow posters - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

If you alert a post that is a Websleuths rules violation and then proceed to violate the rules yourself on the thread as a response (or defense), you will also be subject to a possible time out.

Whether you read these rules or not, you are still responsible for knowing them.

Please remember this post when the forum opens up again.

WE ARE REOPENING THIS FORUM. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING AND THANK THE POST BEFORE POSTING IN THE THREADS.

    Thanks,

    The WS Team

We are opening Dylan's forum back up. Please read the rules before posting. Whether you read them or not you will still be held responsible and time outs will be given if the rules are ignored.

We will not be discussing the pictures and the fetish, it is not allowed. Rumors are not allowed. You can speculate with what we do know thru the media and law enforcement at this time.

No name calling or name variations.

WS is not going to engage in social media wars. Don't bring it here. There will be zero tolerance for engaging in such wars here at WS.

Thank you all for caring so much about Dylan!
