This cat just might have nine lives.

After a plane crash in Indiana that killed former Oklahoma quarterback Steve Davis six days ago, Patricia Kobalski and her family were still frantically searching for their cat Zuul who seemingly disappeared.

According to NBC 14, the feline, however, was miraculously discovered just before a wrecking ball was set to take down the destroyed house by a perceptive construction worker.
Harvey Jackson, the construction worker who found the cat, talked to WSBT-TV about his fateful encounter with Zuul.

'It jumped out and jumped down the corner and I didn't want the wrecking ball to hit it so I just stopped immediately to try to get down there and try to get it.'
After being taken to a neighbor, Zuul was then rushed to a local veterinarian who is optimistic that he will survive despite having numerous injuries, including an air-pocket in his lung and a fracture to one of its legs.
