Dailymail articles, 1st talks about the older brother's wife, apparently she converted to Islam when she married Tamerlan. 2nd is about their mother, she was arrested for shoplifting last year. 3rd article states Dzhokhar ran over his brother's body with the stolen SUV during the shootout.

Thanks for the links. I don't think he could know he was running over his brother's body because of the gunfire around them. Just my opinion

MIT officer Sean Collier, 26, of Somerville, Mass

A beloved campus cop was the fourth victim in the Boston bombers’ reign of terror — shot dead before he could even draw his gun.

“He wanted to get to know students — he wanted to understand us. . . . He knew which students he was protecting every day when he came to work,” one student wrote.

BOSTON (CBS) – An MBTA police officer was shot and seriously wounded early Friday morning while chasing the two men wanted for the Boston Marathon bombings.

“Facing extraordinary danger, Officer Donohue never hesitated in fully engaging the terrorists in order to protect the citizens of the Commonwealth,” said MBTA Transit Police Chief Paul MacMillan. “I am extremely proud of him, and cannot say enough about his heroic actions.”

    Remembering Sean Collier...

Representative for the MIT Outing Club:

"Sean's excitement about the outdoors was contagious. He could keep an entire carload of hikers entertained on the long drive to distant trailheads, and was always willing to share his favorite hiking snack: pepperoni, or "roni" as he called it. He could find the bright side of any situation, be it bad weather, turning back just before the summit, or a fender-bender on the way to the mountains. His grin was irrepressible."

Don't know if this was discussed before, but do we know how these two got to MIT? They obviously had bomb making material on them when they carjacked the SUV at the 7/11. How did they get there? What were they doing at MIT and were they the reason the campus police got a disturbance call?

I've searched far and wide on the internet this morning trying to find out DT's condition. I expected since they said he was in "serious" condition and unable to communicate, and talked about wounds and blood, that he would have had surgery during the night, but I can't find a thing. There's very little news talking about his condition, except to say "serious".

Has anyone found anything else on his condition or whether he had surgery during the night?

I don't want him to die. I want them to be able to question him and study him like a bug lol. I also want those who died and were injured and their families to get justice.

    Thanks!

Last night while watching news coverage, they said he was in surgery at the time.

So I think he had surgery last night but I'm not sure how it went or how he's doing now.

All I've heard is that he has a gunshot wound to the neck/head area, a gunshot wound to the leg and various less serious injuries. He is expected to recover, but no word and whether he is conscious and speaking. My wild guess is that the head/neck wound is not that serious or else he wouldn't have been able to engage in a fire fight prior to his apprehension. Every one is invested in his recovery so we can learn more.

FBI wait to question captured Boston bombing suspect

A spokeswoman for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre in Boston, confirmed today Tsarnaev was being treated there, but declined comment on his condition. The FBI would be providing any updates, she said. It was not yet clear when he would face initial charges.

Tsarnaev, a student at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, was in a serious condition when he was taken into custody, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis told a news conference.

I'm confused about the first picture.
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...#ixzz2QynyNdUR

When was this taken? He seems to be sitting up with no head wound. Was he shot in the head by gunfire at the scene? I thought he was laying down under the cover?

I heard the same... major blood loss and surgery. The FBI would be responsible for any more updates on his condition not the hospital.

This is all I can find.
