    KY - John Beach, 34, Somerset, 21 April 2013

    http://www.wkyt.com/news/headlines/P...1.html?ref=831

John Beach and his brother Robert had been driving on Elihu Cabin Hollow Road when they ran out of gas and went looking for help. Robert found it but John has not been seen since.

“He’d get paranoid..and run away from his brother,” said John Beach’s siser, Margaret Polly.

She and other relatives spent most of Monday walking through the rural hillsides just off cabin hollow road….looking for any sign of her brother, John.

“He would have called us. We are so close of a family. He would have gotten in touch with us one way or another,” Polly said.

The 34 year old Beach was released from prison just two weeks ago. He and his brother needed help Thursday night but while Robert was using the phone at a neighbor’s house, John disappeared.

“I don’t know what he was thinking. He was probably thinking he broke his parole or something,” Polly said.

They found his shirt alongside the road but since Thursday have had no other sign of him.

“His mind is not right, he just knows the prison life, he didn’t know life out here, no more,” Polly said.

The Pulaski County Sheriff says John Beach is now listed as a missing person but beyond that they’re not sure what happened.

He probably became confused and may have gotten lost. Are they doing any searches?

I am not sure. I find the comment about him being paranoid & running away from his brother very odd. If he's done nothing wrong, no point in being worried about breaking parole.

He's got one heck of a criminal record, some covered here:

    Also:
Since getting out of jail, Beach’s mind had been “not right” according to Polly.
“The way he acted when he got out of jail” was concerning to his sister. “He never went to the doctor. He had paranoia.”
Wood said that “conversations with the brother” indicated that both men had been taking the drug methamphetamine.
BBM could explain his irrational actions.

Well, that would make sense about the paranoia then.

Somerset Police Search for "Dangerous" Man

    http://www.foxlexington.com/newsroom...man-2622.shtml

    Thursday, August 29 2013, 10:47 PM EDT

Back in April 2013, Robert Beach's Brother, John Beach, disappeared. Police say the car the two men were in ran out of gas in Pulaski County. They say Robert Beach went to use the phone at a nearby house, but John disappeared and hasn't been seen since. The Pulaski County Sheriff tells us Robert Beach is a person of interest in the case because he was the last person to see his brother.

The human remains discovered by investigators in December are a match for those of a man who went missing last April, according to the Pulaski County Coroner’s office.

Coroner Chuck Godbey said that he has been in contact with the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort about the case, and received word that the remains belong to John Beach as authorities initially suspected.
