Unidentified male found August 16, 2001 in a wooded area off of 3rd Ave, Anchorage, AK. Estimated time of death February 2001; estimated age 45-49 years, about 5'6" to 5'10" tall. Wearing a black 'Adidas' winter jacket with purple lining, 'Woolrich' brand men's button-front doeskin-colored shirt, Rustler brand jeans and size 8.5 Rawlings brand blue and white tennis shoes. Arthritis in lower back; hairline fracture long axis of left femur.

Huh, there's no rule outs in NamUs. Page was updated recently though. That recon is creepy, though. Probably because of the eyes.

I know he's estimated to have died in February, but to me, the clothing sounds entirely inadequate for Alaska at the time of year. It's also not clear from the reconstruction, but the man had long hair (3-10"), worn in a ponytail, and a beard (1-3", yellowed at ends--yellow beards are sometimes from staining [chewing tobacco, food], but that would be more around the mouth, etc, versus the ends?). There were darker strands mixed in with the gray.
