Heeringa's son: 'My mom's at somewhere'
    Zevyn can count to 15.
"Ten, eight, eleven," he demonstrated for 24 Hour News 8 Wednesday.
"No, count right," his dad laughed. "You know how to count, mister. Quit cheating."
The 3-year-old with big blue eyes knows his colors. And he's polite.
He also knows this much about what happened to his mom:
"My mom's at somewhere," he said. "We can't find her."

Jessica Heeringa case 2 months later: 'It's just hard to put all the pieces together,' police chief says
The investigation into the disappearance of Jessica Heeringa, the missing Norton Shores gas station clerk, has continued for two full months now as law enforcement officials continue to hold out hope the young mother is alive.

Heeringa, 25, of Muskegon, was allegedly abducted on April 26 from the Sternberg Road Exxon gas station while working alone as she was finishing her shift around 11 p.m.
The Norton Shores Police Department is leading the investigation at this time.
Norton Shores Police Chief Dan Shaw said Friday, June 28, that the case has had some movement, and while there have been “some people of interest,” it’s difficult to tie them to the alleged abduction.
