Detectives are investigating the deaths of two men and a woman whose bodies have been found at a farm just outside Ottawa in Franklin County, Kan., on Monday.

Richards would not address whether the female victim was Kaylie Bailey of Olathe, who supposedly was heading to the Georgia Road home last week before she and her 18-month-old daughter vanished. Richards said they had not been able to confirm whether she made it to the home and deferred questions about her case to Olathe police.

Kaylie’s car is also missing, Helms-Bailey said. It’s a black Toyota Corolla with a broken passenger mirror fixed with duct tape and a front license plate that says, “Shawna,” which is her sister’s name. She was going to buy the car from her sister, Helms-Bailey said.

Fear For Missing Olathe Woman And Baby As Three Bodies Are Found

There are reports baby clothing was found near one body. Sheriff Richards was adamant about the subject,“what I’m telling you are the things that I know and not speculation. And so, at this time, I can’t say that those people ever made it to the address in our county.”

The missing woman is the sister-in-law of one of two people of interest, a man wanted for questioning about the murders, according to the Lawrence Journal World.

I have to say I'm confused.

The house is owned by Jackson and Karon Anderson, but they weren't living in it?
Jackson Anderson has been trying to find out where his brother (?) and Bailey (Kaylie?) are.
So, Kaylie and his brother are probably 2 of the three that are dead?

Im kinda sorta local. On the news it doesnt look like anyone lives in the house but there are farm animals there. HTH

McGill and Osladil—who had known Bailey her whole life—said Bailey had a relationship with a man who lived in the home and had planned to drop her baby off there Wednesday.

So far, the missing baby doesn't meet the criteria for an Amber Alert, Caldwell said. He noted that when the missing person report was taken, there was no information that the child had been abducted.

"She left with her mother," he said.

This is extremely simple to figure out here. :stormingmad:

Is the FATHER of the baby among the DEAD BODIES???
Is the MOTHER of the baby among the DEAD BODIES??
If the BABY among the DEAD BODIES???

Okay... if the FATHER is NOT there... and the mother is... and the baby is NOT???
ISSUE an Amber Alert! :furious:

If the father and mother ARE there and the baby is not... FIND THE BABY! :banghead:

Talk about covering their butts... they didn't even recognize the smell of rotting bodies?
This isn't rocket science! :banghead:

Police, however, on Tuesday were looking for a black 2007 Toyota Corolla that matched the description of Bailey’s car in connection with the homicides, The car has a vanity plate on the front bumper and a Kansas license plate 618 DAA. The passenger-side mirror is secured with gray duct tape.

They also sought to question two men who might have information in the case. One of the men was someone who lived with Stout at the farm. The other is Bailey’s former brother-in-law who, a relative said, did speak with police Tuesday.

OTTAWA, Kan. - The vehicle a missing mother and daughter were last seen in matches the description of the car a person of interest in the triple-murder at a rural Franklin County farm was believed to be driving.

Kyle Flack, 27, was arrested early Wednesday, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. He was wanted for questioning about the homicides. Police say Flack was considered armed and extremely dangerous, and that he has a violent criminal past.

Just outside the garage entrance, McGill said, she saw a burn barrel that had baby clothes, a baby bottle and a girl's sleeping bag. She said she also saw a pair of baby's socks on the ground that appeared clean despite rainy conditions in recent days.

I hope they are found soon and safe. This entire situation just seems unreal. I wonder if they have the positive id's of the 3 people found dead and if so, why aren't they confirming or denying to these family members who are concerned that it might be their loved one.

It also makes you think, if they found the car the girls were last seen in but still haven't found the girls, where could they be.

Such a horrible situation.
