It's my understanding that it is the weight of the hits that take us down. Another reason is the moving around, page to page and refreshing. It puts a lot of weight on the site.

Members can help if they will refrain from a lot of refreshing of the page. Another way you can help is to set your 'View Per Page' to at least 50.

I feel today is the day. I did some serious cleaning this past weekend so I would be all ready to jump right into the cruelty phase of this. Justice for Travis!!

so anxious for the verdict. So what is the feel for the length of the wait thus far? Are you worried its taking too long or reassured that unlike another jury I won't name, these folks are giving the evidence their full and thorough attention?

Wow, I'm early for a change! Prayers for justice today.

Getting in here early. Wearing blue again today accidentally but maybe it's a good omen!

I am not panicking yet. I look at the demographic of this jury first and foremost. Many of these jurors are over 40, and I think they are less likely to make a quick decision. They have shown themselves to be a very measured and thorough jury through their questions and they will take their time. There is a huge volume of evidence in this case and they will examine all of it, I am sure of that.

I believe the prosecution did more than enough to prove their case and justice for the Alexander family is coming. Stay positive!

I just hope these jurors understand the legal meaning of "reasonable doubt."

This trail as really got to me I said if Casey A. got off I would not watch another trail
but I got caught up in this one but if she does not get life I don't think I'll watch another trail because sitting in front of the computer having the TV on all day it really gets to me
and I think about it all the time she knows what she did and she needs to pay for it

Looks like last Friday they chose a foreperson and talked about how they were going to go about deciding a verdict. Apparently, a methodical trek through all the evidence won out. Since there's been no question sent out or requests for read-backs, they're, hopefully, just making their way, slowly but surely, toward MI.

This case is cut and dry, either they believe that thing or they don't, there is NO middle ground here. They can't believe one thing she says and then not the other. It's all or nothing. I can't understand what the hold up is. I also worry that the questions from the jury were from the jurors that have been removed!!! My god, I'm making myself more sick...I keep having flashbacks to the CA case.

I know many of us are having flashbacks to the CA case. I've previously referred to this as a form of PTSD, but out of respect for those who truly suffer with PTSD, I think we should call it ...:drumroll: ...

Morning Websleuths! It's a beautiful day for a verdict!

I'm trying to remind myself of the juror questions. They were pretty skeptic about a lot of the defense's witnesses. The jury had a lot of doubt in Dr. S and Laviolette, it was apparent. Especially with Alyce, they even asked if her opinion could skewed toward thinking a female is always the victim. I think that says a lot about their mindset.

Let's keep positive today that justice will be served, so Travis's family can finally get some closure.
