MN MN - Joshua Bohlen, 39, Northfield, 20 Sept 2012

Police are asking farmers and landowners in the Northfield area to report any clues about the disappearance of a 39-year-old man missing more than seven months.

Joshua Bohlen was last seen Sept. 20, 2012, near his pickup about a mile north of Dennison.

Police say Bohlen was suffering from paranoia when he disappeared and likely would have hidden from any people or vehicles.

Bohlen is a white man, 5-foot-6, 180 pounds with blond hair. He possibly was last wearing jeans, a long-sleeved shirt and hiking or work boots.

Nearly one year after a Northfield man went missing, the family is looking to go to court to declare him deceased according to the law, in order to take care of his property.

The family of Joshua Ben Bohlen organized a memorial to honor the Northfield man who went missing at 39 more than a year ago.

Her son has struggled with schizophrenia, which she said was a contributing factor in his disappearance, but it's just a "small piece of who he was."

"The biggest thing I want to do is honor his memory," she said. "No one would have known that he had any problems. He just was so generous and a fun-loving guy and cared about everybody."

"I'm glad I can do something," she said. "I'm so glad that it's me that's hurting and not him anymore. Any mom can handle it better. You want to take the pain away from your kids."
