Family & Friends: Baby Elaina's disappearance could have been avoided
Some of those closest to the mother of a missing East Toledo toddler, 18-month-old Elaina Steinfurth, say the child's disappearance could have be avoided.
Elaina's father, Terry Steinfurth Junior, has said he only gave his two children to his estranged wife, Angela, because he needed to work and she'd promised to care for the them at her step-father's home.

Pink ribbons dot Toledo, Ohio streets for missing baby
The search continues for a missing 18-month-old girl in Toledo, Ohio. FBI divers combed the Maumee River on Monday and Tuesday, but they did not find anything.
Elaina Steinfurth was last seen on June 2. Pink ribbons are now wrapped around trees, poles and cars up and down Federal Street. They are a solemn reminder of the missing baby girl. Family friend Valerie Lang says, "It actually came from the yellow ribbons from the support for the troops. Support for Elaina. Keep hope alive. She's still somewhere. She's not home yet.
