I transcribed this word for word from this video clip on the Nancy Grace Show for Thursday evening 06/20/13. From watching the show, there is more to this phone interview with Christie Edmonds but it's not on this video clip. I'll try and find the rest of what she said on the show.

    http://www.hlntv.com/video/2013/06/2...00#videoplayer

Nancy Grace (06/20/13): Elaina goes missing in broad daylight and last seen napping in the family home, but now were learning she wasn't seen the day she went missing, with me, special guest, Christie Edmonds. This is the boyfriend, Steven King's cousin. Christie, I know you talk to your cousin Steven King every day, he even stayed at your home recently. What is he saying happened the day the baby goes missing?

Christie Edmonds (06/20/13): "From what he tells me is that the baby got up in the morning, and it was no different than any other morning and she was fine playing with her toys and things. She got tired, laid her down for a nap. Steven placed her on the bed, Angela changed her diaper and gave her a cup. They left the house and went to a store called Universal, came back from that store, was home for a while, he was out front with the older kids playing, Steven, my cousin Steven was out front with the older kids playing. Angela was in and out of the house. He said she could come out and smoke and go back house. Then they left and went to the Dollar General. Came back from there and a short time later is when TJ showed up and they gave TJ the first daughter, and they got into an altercation, yelling, TJ left, came back with his dad, and they got into it again. My Aunt said Steven go into the house so they could stop arguing, and my Aunt and Uncle stayed on the porch and tried to, you know, calm the situation. My Uncle spoke to my Aunt and told her, you need to go tell Angela to bring the baby out, and when she went in and that's when Angela told her the baby was missing."

    ===================================

ACR HERE: So now we have two different stories, and I have a few questions and thoughts.

    (1) Friends and family of Angela said they were told by Angela that she woke up on Sunday morning (06/2) and discovered that Elaina had a black eye, blood coming from her nose, and a bump on her head. Additional family (Father, Richard Schiewe) stated Angela told him she was threatened "she's next" if she told. a) WHY bother to tell this story? b) Whose advantage was it to tell this story? and c) Why threaten Angela, why not threaten her other child?

    (2) Now Steven King Jr's cousin, Christie Edmonds is coming forward to give Steven's side of the story of how Elaina was that SAME morning of June 2nd, and he claims the baby got up like every other morning and was playing with toys and things. Christie even said that it was Steven who laid Elaina on the bed just before Angela changed her diaper and gave her a cup. If Elaina had a black eye and blood coming from her nose, I'm sure Steven (who has a young son of his own according to his now deleted Facebook) would have noticed that.

    (3) So if it's true that baby Elaina WAS in the King family house the morning of Sunday June 2nd, witnessed in statements now passed on between Angela telling her friends ("Frank") and family (Sister, Mary Schiewe), and Steven King telling his cousin (Christie), then SOMEBODY removed the baby from the house sometime before 2:00pm when the father, TJ showed up to pick up the children, or while the father was outside, or when the father left long enough to take the 4 year old to his own father's house, before he returned.

    (4) Angela made the big announcement that Elaina was missing AFTER the Grandfather, Terry Steinfurth and his son, TJ returned back to the King house.

    (5) Ferretmommy (baby's grandmother) stated here on WS that Angela didn't drive and didn't have a car. Sooooo, if Steven King Jr's statements to his cousin are true, then somebody who had a vehicle took Elaina from the King family home on 6/2, either before, during or after the father, TJ showed up.

    (6) So somebody is lying !

    (7) Does anybody know when the Ohio Food card is loaded for Toledo? If it's June 1st, then it's possible that their midnight trip (6/1) could have been to meet with somebody to trade cash for food stamps, so Angela could go the next day to buy cigarettes.

    (8) Either way, all three trips that Angela made between 6/1 and 6/2 (that we know of); 1) Midnight run, 2) Universal Convenient Store, and 3) Family Dollar required somebody to drive her in a vehicle.

    (9) So if Angela is the one who seriously injured baby Elaina, thus having to make a distorted decision to get rid of the baby, then SOMEBODY else helped her remove the baby from the King family property.

    (10) So who would Angela trust enough to ask to help her hide a seriously injured baby?

    Just my opinion and thoughts

UPDATE: Relatives of Angela’s cellmate contact FBI with tip
Relatives of Angela Steinfurth’s cellmate alerted the FBI late Tuesday evening to the potential location of Steinfurth’s missing 18-month-old daughter, Elaina.
Jobeth Adams of North Toledo said her sister, Connie Elam, called her June 18 from Lucas County Correctional Facility. Elam told Adams that Steinfurth had confessed to helping her boyfriend hide Elaina’s body.

“[Elam] called Tuesday night, and she was really upset,” Adams said. “She said, ‘I don’t know why this woman has decided to confide in me.’”
According to Elam, Steinfurth’s boyfriend Steven W. King threw Elaina up against the wall between the night of June 1 and the morning of June 2, injuring her. The two then put the toddler down for a nap. When they returned, Elaina was dead.
“They wrapped [Elaina] up in a blanket, and took her down by the High-Level Bridge and [King] stood behind [Steinfurth] and she threw this baby in the river,” Adams said.

Day 20, in the search for 18-month-old Elaina Steinfurth, began with a false report that someone had found the body of the missing toddler.
Toledo Police would later spend the afternoon trying to assure the public, and baby Elaina's family, that they investigated the tip but found it was a false alarm.

The ex-boyfriend's story revealed: What he says happened to Baby Elaina
On Thursday night's Nancy Grace show, on the HLN network, Steven King's cousin gave his account of the day 18-month-old Elaina Steinfurth last was seen, June 2nd.
King, the ex-boyfriend of Elaina's mother, Angela Steinfurth, has remained out of the public eye for nearly a week after receiving death threats.
While King has remained in constant contact with authorities, who insist he is not a suspect, there are still people who believe he had some involvement in the child's disappearance.

Baby Elaina - vigil and fundraiser held as search for tot continues
A crowd gathered at Federal street for a prayer vigil in baby Elaina Steinfurth's honor Saturday evening, and friends of her father held a fundraiser downtown.
A line-up of local hip-hop artists took to the stage to help raise money for Elaina's family. Many of the artists are good friends with Elaina's father T. J. Steinfurth, who is also a rapper. Organizers say all proceeds will go towards the costs the family has incurred in the past three weeks of searching for little Elaina.
    T. J.'s best friend, Joseph Gomez said, "This hits everybody hard, so like we all need to come together and show our support and I figured this is one of the best ways to do it. Give a great show and have everyone as much as possible come out and show their love."

    Search for baby Elaina expands
Elaina Steinfurth has been missing for nearly three weeks, and search teams are expanding their coverage to help bring the baby home.
On Saturday, teams of 15-20 volunteers performed “grid searches” across local cemeteries, roads, and further down the Maumee River. Volunteer searcher Anita Janz drove over two hours from Cleveland to help find Elaina.

Baby Elaina's mom indicted for obstruction
She was arrested on child endangering charges on June 12th. Police say she knew Baby Elaina was hurt, but didn't seek medical attention for the girl.
It's not clear what will happen with the child endangerment charges. If the grand jury decides not to indict, they issue what's called a "no bill." That did not happen in this case. The final say on the indictment belongs to the grand jury.

Family happy case against Angela Steinfurth moves forward
It was another quick appearance for Angela Steinfurth. Her child endangering charges were transferred over to Lucas County Common Pleas Court for the next step.
Toledo police officers presented evidence to a grand jury Monday, and members decided to add a charge of obstructing justice. Steinfurth will be arraigned on the charges in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Fisherman's line reels in what could be hair

A fisherman whose line snagged something on the Maumee River's bottom beneath the Anthony Wayne Bridge today then reeled in what searchers for a missing infant believe could be several strands of the child's hair.
But a Toledo Fire Department official said the evidence was not strong enough to justify sending divers back into the murky water, where previous searches for the body of Elaina Steinfurth had come up empty.
Fisherman Patrick Howard, of Toledo, said he turned what he described as a tuft of brownish-blond hair tangled on his hook over to police who were called to the scene on the river's East Toledo bank for examination.

Search for answers continues in Steinfurth case
The room where Elaina Steinfurth was last seen is frozen in time. The dark, cold space offers a glimpse into the turmoil that has enveloped her family during the past month. Overturned mattresses — grungy and stained — and piles of clothes lay scattered across the floor, untouched since the most recent police search. The room is colored by a pink glow from the light filtered by window shades. The eerie silence is broken by the slow, low whir of a ceiling fan. In the corner of the room, a torn bag of diapers sits unused.
