Williams is still missing, vigil to be held tonight at the Tivoli Apartment complex where he lives. The Navy lists his current status as AWOL
Williams disappeared May 28th near the Avenues Mall. The last time his wife saw him, they had an argument outside the mall and she went back in to finish shopping for a dress for their daughter.
Police say he used his debit card at a Kangaroo gas station and then got in a cab. He asked the cab driver to drop him off at the Tivoli Apartment complex.

This case is really bothering me. A LOT.
Everyone who knows this man says it is totally out of character for him to just disappear. He has two children and he is active military.
Police say they do not suspect foul play in his disappearance.
But no one has seen or heard from him since he and Vanessa got in a fight at the Avenues Mall in late May.
"He could not have disappeared, in his uniform, in broad daylight," said Rice.
A spokesperson for the Navy says this is an ongoing investigation, and they are still working with JSO to find out what happened to Chief Williams.
So what's missing here? They don't suspect foul play... does that mean they have nothing concrete leading them to believe there is foul play? Because he didn't have a cell phone with him and there's been no sign or trace of him at all sign that afternoon. That seems suspicious at the very least to me. Does no foul play mean they think he just up and left?
It's concerning that this man is a member of our military and doesn't seem to be getting the attention or resources devoted to his disappearance, for one reason or another. He deserves better and so does his family.
