81-Year-Old Critical Missing Man

Los Angeles: The Astoria Gardens Assisted Living Facility and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Area station are asking for the public’s help to locate 81-year-old Lee McCracken.

On June 11, 2013, between 2 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., McCracken was last seen at the Astoria Gardens Assisted Living Facility in the 14000 block of Astoria Street, in Sylmar. McCracken left the location and has not been seen or heard from since. The assisted living facility is extremely concerned for his welfare because he has Alzheimer disease and is in need of medical attention.

McCracken is described as a White, male with gray hair, brown eyes. He is described as 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds with a white mustache. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Anyone with information on Lee’s whereabouts is asked to contact the LAPD Mission watch commander’s office at (818) 838-9800. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477). Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.
