CA - Jose Muniz, 78, Culver City, 10 June 2013

    This man has dementia.
He was transferred by ambulance to Brotman Medical Center in Culver City.
He then wandered off and has not been seen since.
    He is 78 years old.

I really hope this man is found safely.
It must be so frightening to be lost and not understand what is happening!

I very much hope so too. I just searched the net and find nothing new. :-/

I'd also like to know why he was brought to Brotman, and from where. Who called for the ambulance and why? Needless to say, it's unfortunate that the hospital did not keep him confined and safe. Then again, we do not know why he was transported there.

I had hoped by now to find family asking for help, and to provide more details too.

A radio personality posted about this on his wall. (on Wednesday)
Comments show that as of 22 hours ago Jose has not been found.
    Still praying for Jose.

    Bumping for Jose.

It must be so frightening to have dementia and be lost!
Praying he is being helped by someone and will be home safely soon!

A relative commented on a FB to say (paraphrasing to stay in TOS) that he may be anywhere in the area because he has a "bus bracelet" that allows him to ride the public buses for free.

So sad for this man and his family. It was announced an hour ago that he is deceased. His body was found on June 11 (day after he went missing) on a beach, but it took time to figure out who he was.

So very sad. If only the hospital personnel had seen him when he began to wander off! Not blaming, just wished this had not happened. Must have been so frightening for Mr Muniz.

Cause of death has not been released. I pray it was "natural causes" and that some scum didn't abuse this poor man.

"His unidentified body was found June 11 by beach-goers, who then flagged down nearby lifeguards. "

Prayers and love to all who loved him.
^I^ Rest in peace Mr Muniz ^I^

Rest in peace, Mr Muniz. My thoughts are with your friends and family during this difficult time.
