A search is underway in far northwest suburban Cary along the banks of the Fox River for a 28-year-old woman missing for 14 years.
Cary authorities said new information came to light recently in the disappearance of Wendy Kimura, who on May 20, 1999, took a train from Chicago to Fox River Grove to spend the night with a friend who lived in the 200 block of Northwest Highway in Cary.
She was last seen walking along Route 14 in Cary the next day, Cary authorities said.
