Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Gray hair, brown eyes. Sprinkle is missing his right ear and he's blind in his right eye. He has surgical scars on the right side of his face and a lazy eye, and he wears eyeglasses. He may have a beard. His nickname is Tom.

Details of Disappearance
Sprinkle was last seen in Amherst, Virginia on June 9, 2013. He has never been heard from again. Prior to his disappearance, the person he lived with sold the house and told Sprinkle he had to find another place to live. Sprinkle had little contact with his immediate family at the time of his disappearance; his brother reported him missing on June 18.

Sprinkle left behind his medications and debit card, and there hasn't been any activity on his bank or credit accounts since his disappearance. He may be driving a white 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 van with the Virginia license plate number KEN-4161; a photo of a similar van posted with this case summary. His case remains unsolved.

The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office has recovered a van belonging to a man missing more than seven years, containing possible human remains.

Thomas W. Sprinkle, Jr. was reported missing June 18, 2013. At the time of his disappearance, he was driving a white 2001 Dodge van.

The van was recovered and has been positively identified as belonging to Sprinkle.
