I'm following this, but he really might just be hanging out with someone else, imho. I don't know. Did he miss work, too? Have they checked his extended friends to see if he went in someone else's car and just stood up the girlfriend?

That said, I certainly hope they are checking those apartments and ditches, etc, nearby. Tracking dogs would be great, too. And bank records.

I hope he's OK. At the moment I think he might be fine :) That would be excellent.

This isn't far at all from our case resolved last week where the lady was missing on purpose, btw. So the conditions and terrain are pretty similar, I think.

Family pleads for information about missing man

A mother in North Carolina is desperate to find her son.

"We just want him home," Morris' mother Dana Morris said. "We just want anybody who knows anything who can help us bring him back home."

[snip]

Two days before Morris went missing, his friend, Ricky Etheridge, was shot. Morris' mother said he took Etheridge to the hospital for treatment. Morris also spoke with police about the shooting.

[snip]

Morris' family said they believe someone did something to him because he spoke with police about the shooting.

It ticks me off that this young man did the right thing and spoke to police only to vanish afterward. If this is what happens to witnesses, people will stop speaking to LE. Hopefully, he decided to go away on his own to avoid any repercussions. If not, at least police have an idea who might be involved.

I have wondered for days about this case, but I could not remember the young man's name. This still ticks me off. I feel so bad for his family. I hope justice is swift, but it looks like nobody will be charged. It's been two weeks.
