NY - Nurse Convicted for sexually assaulting Brain-Damaged Patient
A licensed practical nurse at a Rochester, N.Y., nursing home has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a bedridden female resident, the state attorney general has announced.
After a three-day jury trial in Monroe County Supreme Court, Michael Edwards, 46, of Irondequoit, N.Y., was convicted March 17 of first-degree sexual abuse and willful violation of health laws, Spitzer said.

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
