Four Children Left In Sweltering Car By Shoplifter
When he went inside the Family Dollar store he left the four children with the windows up including a 9 month old infant. He purchased several packs of playing cards and boosted an lousey $8.00 cellphone case.

Doesn't sound like those kids have too much chance in life - mom in rehab, dad thief. Geez.
So often times it happens that we live our life in chains, and we never even know we have the key. ...Eagles, "Already Gone"

DCF in all states should start to re-think their protocols now, esp after what recently happened to poor Cher*sh P.
Kids need more than just a hug at night. They need common sense parents, parents who are not addicts, parents who have the well-being of the kids at the foremost of daily life, parents that know a thing or two about protecting the safety of their children. And we don't need parents who use their children as a meal ticket either by relying on child support to support their own lives, or through subsidies, or through nefarious routes.
I contend that there are many people waiting to adopt children (provided they have been extensively screened) that have a lot more to offer than these punky bio-parents.
I say give the kids a chance at a good life.
And if you know in your heart that you can't even take care of yourself, or you know you have mental issues, or you know you're too selfish, or a drug addict-----then rethink why you would expose a child to a life that you (as a parent) can barely control or sustain yourself in.
It is so infuriating!- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ah, so it's the child-endangering, shoplifting, cardsharping trifecta. And is it my imagination or is Family Dollar coming into its own as a hotbed of horrible crime? Seems like the place features in every second thread these days.
Hopefully the kids get parachuted outta there. A very dangerous situation.

It boggles the mind. In alot of cases I swear these people just keep having children because it's easy. It must be so dang easy to allow the 9 year old to care for five year old and 9 month old twins while you go boost. These poor kids out there are raising their siblings. "Oh you're six years old now. Go take Sue and Betty out to the pool which has sat for four days with animals drinking out of it and not a da*n drop of bleach cleaned it".
People can not be that thick can they? Do they not get it?
FWIW this should be great for mom's recovery.

I've never felt having a child is easy. I dont get people. I fret and worried like a mad woman when I had my son. He is my first and only.
Am I gonna be a good mom? Can I keep up with him? Will I make the right decisions? AM I holding him right? Etc....And I have a stable home and job.
It just amazes me how some people can pop out kids like its no biggie. Then have messed up lives on top of that.Rest in Peace John 08/09/86-04/24/2014.
Husband, father and son. I miss you and so does your son.

I'm one of those that would love to be able to adopt (again). I suffer from infertility and have one son (adopted). My husband and I would love love love to have twins. Stories like this one really p*ss me off!
Maybe people should have to go through what an adoptive parent goes through to PROVE they are fit. Although, I realize some adoptive parents aren't the greatest either.
I pray these precious babies are in a safe, loving home tonight. This post is my opinion only unless supported with a link.

MISSING SINCE 6 NOVEMBER 2011 when his mother ALLEGEDLY left him in a locked car.
She has been uncooperative with law enforcement and has seemingly moved on with her life.
