A 30-year-old man was jailed on multiple felony counts Thursday, the day after he allegedly kidnapped and assaulted two women and then led police on a high-speed, two-county chase ending in a crash.

The Wednesday afternoon chase ended when Jeremy Deangilo Storm allegedly crashed in Millcreek township. Officers found him hiding in a home near 2300 East and Apple View Court (2900 South).

It took a while for detectives from both Salt Lake and Summit counties to unravel the complex case............

The second woman's boyfriend may have owed Storm money, according to the jail report.

He drove the two women to Olympic Ski Jump area in Park City where police say he attacked the first woman, "trying to twist her head in an attempt to break her neck," the report stated. While doing this, he forced the second woman to help him by holding the first woman, according to the jail report. Storm stopped the alleged attack "due to bleeding and shouts for help," according to the jail report

Methamphetamine and marijuana were found in Storm's vehicle. Both women were treated at local hospitals and released.
