PA - Principal accused of sex charges

The 28-year-old acting principal was charged with two counts each of corrupting a minor and indecent exposure, Delaware County District Attorney G. Michael Green said.

Green said the 16-year-old student, interviewed at least twice by authorities, said she had consensual intercourse with Wilson, whom she called "Doc," on March 17 and March 29. Wilson, who is now on leave, has called the allegations "bullcrap" drummed up by political adversaries.

District Attorney Green said that on the two days in question, Wilson is seen unlocking an auditorium door. The student is seen entering from a different location. After more than 15 minutes, they leave, and "it appears that her clothes were in a state of disarray," Green said.

Under state law, a teenager can consent to sex with an adult at age 16. But Green said that even though the junior, who is known as a good student, said she did consent, sex between an administrator and student is "intolerable."

Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

legal consent at 16 and adults

When popular Chester High School administrator Eboni Wilson was accused this week of having consensual sex with a 16-year-old student, he was charged with corrupting the morals of a minor and indecent exposure, both misdemeanors.

However, some defense lawyers question whether what Wilson is accused of is a crime at all.

Such relationships may be "disturbing" to parents and "inappropriate," said Center City defense attorney Marc Neff, but "there is nothing illegal about having sex."

Wilson's arrest highlights confusing questions about sexual relations between youths who are of the age of legal consent at 16 and adults. Sex with a minor younger than 16 is considered statutory rape. And what happens when the adult is an educator?

    Cass,
Chester is ,for the most part, fairly run down and not known for having a too "together" school system Im afraid!!!

That aside however I agree a 28 year old principal sounds off to me too!
I know alot of H/S wont allow teachers too close to the Students ages so a principal to be in his 20's seems odd!

Last week, Delaware County District Attorney G. Michael Green withdrew the highly publicized misdemeanor charges of corrupting the morals of a minor and indecent exposure that were filed April 6.

Green based the charges on a statement by a 16-year-old student, who said she and Wilson twice had sex in the high school auditorium; the student almost immediately told friends and teachers that it was not true and that she had felt pressured by investigators during a late-night interrogation to say what they wanted to hear.

I always thought that as well.. however wouldn't that be age discrimination?
Seems he's smart, got his ph.d and all.

    "
After recanting, the student, in a handwritten letter to Wilson's lawyer that was forwarded to the district attorney, reported that there were other students in the auditorium, hiding from Wilson because they were cutting class.

Dominique Taylor, Edison's director of operations in Chester, said she saw security incident reports that identified other students in or near the auditorium at the time the student and Wilson were there. But, she said, those students were not interviewed by prosecutors."
