Authorities search for missing McMinnville man near Hauser
The Coos County Sheriff’s Office said Zachary Bashir Porter was last seen on July 23 when he was dropped off on U.S. Highway 101 across from Steve’s ATV Rental. Porter had reportedly driven down from McMinnville to sell a motorcycle.

Family members of a McMinnville, Ore. man with ties to Thayer, who has not been seen since last month, are asking for the public's help in finding him.
Through investigation the Coos County Sheriff’s Office have now been able place Zachary Porter’s whereabouts to somewhere between the 101/42 Junction and the intersection with North Bank Lane on Hwy 42, which is about 5 miles north of Coquille.

- The family of a man missing for a year is trying to draw attention to the case once again.
In July 2013, 25-year-old Zachary Porter of McMinville traveled to North Bend to sell a motorcycle.
He sent family members a text saying he had arrived safely, but no one has seen or heard from him since.
"His family contacted McMinnville police July 25 after he failed to return from a trip to sell a motorcycle. They contacted the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, which is handling the investigation."
"He received a text message from his son on July 23 that stated, “I arrived safely.” He believes the sale was completed."
If the bike indeed was sold the buyer would have to transfer the title...
It's been over ONE YEAR and there is no new information on this case! =(
