I know I'm hoping he's found soon. It's strange that there hasn't been any updates or sightings of him. I would have thought since they have the car information including plates that they would be able to find him quicker. I also wonder who reported him missing and when the last time his family heard from him.

The family has spoken out about his disappearance and said that he left a goodbye note to his family and he suffers from Alzheimer's disease so he may not know where he is at.

He's 90 lbs?

The 5-foot-6, 90 pound man was last seen Saturday at a four-way stop heading west towards Sioux City, after filling up his Ford F150 at a Conaco station. Family members say Robinson suffers from Alzheimer's disease, and that's what has them worried.

I wonder about the note he left. My ex's mother left one day years ago on Thanksgiving Day. She was around 80 yrs old and decided she wanted to go home while we went to the convince store for just a few minutes and simply walked to the main st and hitchhiked and got a ride home. I hope with all my heart Mr Robinson is found ok.

His destination is unclear but Woodbury County authorities say they have contacted officials in Santa Anna, California and St. Joseph, Missouri. He had apparently mentioned both locations to his family members.

Yeah it seems that he was very thin and frail if he only weighs 90 lbs.

There may have been a couple of sightings of him in Missouri Valley, IA and Council Bluffs, IA. They think he might be headed toward St. Joseph, MO because he worked there a number of years ago.

August 2015: Nearly two years later, Dale Robinson's family continues to search for answers

Nearly two years later, Robinson's family is left wondering where he went and why he left. Surveillance video from a Conoco Gas Station on that date shows Robinson stopping for gas in Moville, Iowa. Robinson lived in Moville. He then left and headed west along on Highway 20 towards Sioux City. The last place that anyone can remember seeing Dale Robinson on August 3rd was in the parking of lot of what was the Argosy Casino.
