Does that mean that the 2 children are unrelated to the suspect?
We don't know who the victim is that was found burned in the fire. I think they mean 'unrelated' to the alleged perp.

Wonder where this guy is from?

wow.. i just have no words! an article that i posted upthread mentioned that LE looked to see if they could find more than 1 victim in the fire.. so im guessing they figured out who lived there and that maybe the one body they found was of an adult and all of this information has come to light since. i hope and pray those kids aren't harmed!! and i'm glad they've quickly ID'd this suspect and gotten his face and info out there!

    all IMO/JMO.

The news of the fire was earlier this a.m. I believe. My son knew about it. The Amber alert just went out a little after 6 tonite and everyone who had a smart phone got a message. My son was driving home with his son and he said it was crazy, alerts going out all over.

Anyway, my son said as soon as he saw they were from Boulevard, he connected them to the fire from last night, I believe.

Bless the poor soul found in the burned out building. Now they gotta save these kids!

Fire crews and sheriff’s deputies went to the 2000 block of Ross Avenue near Old Highway 80 around 8:10 p.m. Sunday in response to a fire at the home and detached garage there, sheriff’s Lt. Glenn Giannantonio said. The body was discovered in one of the structures as crews fought the blaze, he said.

also - for those of you who aren't familiar with City of Boulevard.. it's really far east San Diego county, off the 8 freeway.. very close to the US/Mexican border. the 8 freeway will take you west towards san diego county or east towards arizona.

Authorities believe the children may be with 40-year-old James Lee DiMaggio, who is wanted in connection with a deadly fire in Boulevard.
According to sheriff's officials, inside the home, firefighters found the body of 44-year-old Lakeside resident Christina Anderson. Investigators determined she had been slain.

Additionally, investigators found a dog that had been killed, and in another part of the property, the remains of an unidentified child were discovered. The cause of the child's death has not yet been determined.

Am I overlooking the suspect's name? If we don't have it, how do we have a mugshot?

Re-reading to see if I missed it.

Found in one of the articles (I still could be missing it):

The suspect is James Lee DiMaggio, 40, a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall weighing about 150 pounds. The vehicle reportedly involved is a blue Nissan Versa with license plate number 6WCU986.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department at 858-565-5200.

    This keeps getting worse

According to sheriff's officials, inside the home, firefighters found the body of 44-year-old Lakeside resident Christina Anderson. Investigators determined she had been slain.

Additionally, investigators found a dog that had been killed, and in another part of the property, the remains of an unidentified child were discovered. The cause of the child's death has not yet been determined.

DiMaggio has been identified as a suspect in the case, and investigators said it is believed Christina Anderson and DiMaggio were in a "close platonic relationship."
I hope the slain child is not Ethan
