Mans ear bitten off on Capitol Hill. (seattlepi.com)
---
Just before 10 p.m., the 23-year-old reportedly told a man who was peeing to leave in his fenced yard in the 100 block of 10th Avenue East, according to Seattle police reports.
The girlfriend of the urinating man also told him they should leave. He then started to assault his girlfriend.
The resident pushed the man and tried to stop him, which initiated a fight between the two men. The intruder attacked the resident and bit off a large portion of the victims left ear, reports say.
Responding police found the 21-year-old assailant, mouth covered in blood, in Cal Anderson Park.

When officers asked the 21-year-old whether he swallowed the victims ear, he only smiled.
A search for the victims ear turned up negative, according to Seattle police.
