    Police here are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who has been unconscious since he was struck by a car on July 22.

    The man was hit near Commercial Avenue and Neilson Street. He suffered serious injuries and is still hospitalized. Police believe he is in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and about 150 pounds.

    Police said that the driver stopped after hitting the man. The accident happened at 2:19 a.m.

    If you have any information, police are asking you to contact Officer Charles Savoth at (732) 745-5280 or the New Brunswick Police Department at (732) 745-5200.

    Aw, poor guy. He looks like my neighbor's father, who lives in NJ, but she says she talked to him on the phone yesterday. He's going to spread the pointer around, though.

    it is a great photo (clear, can see features) so someone will recognize this man, right? Someone has to... and then let's hope we find out he wakes up and will not be dealing with lifelong injuries as a result. We need a happy tidbit around here this week for sure.

    Police have found the family of a man who has been hospitalized for a month.

    According to a report on NJ.com, New Brunswick Police Department spokesman Cpt. J.T. Miller confirmed that police have been in contact with the man's family.

    According to police, the man was hit by a car near the intersection of Commercial Avenue and Neilson Street in the early morning hours of July 22.

    He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he remained hospitalized since the incident.
