A grand jury indicted the three people arrested in the fatal shooting of a man walking Downtown last year, officials said.
Dondre Johnson, 19, and Mario Patterson, 24, were indicted on charges of murder in the perpetration of an attempted robbery in the death of David Santucci. Jerrica Norfleet, 23, was indicted on charges of accessory after the fact for first-degree murder.
Fourteen years ago, a group of eight teenagers who lived on Burnham Street in Frayser tried to join the Vice Lords street gang and were rejected.
They became the FAM Mob street gang...
One of the pending criminal cases is the August 2013 murder of David Santucci in which Santucci was robbed and shot to death while walking in the South Main district Downtown. Gang member Dondre Johnson is charged with Santucci’s murder.

A jury on Thursday evening convicted Mario Patterson of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old nurse in 2013 on South Main.
Following the verdict, Shelby County Criminal Court Judge Chris Craft sentenced Patterson, 26, to life in prison.
A 26-year-old woman charged with being an accessory to the murder of a nurse in 2013 on South Main had her case dismissed last week, leaving the victim's family with questions.
Jerrica Norfleet initially pleaded guilty to a felony — being an accessory after the fact to the murder of David Santucci — and was placed on diversion in August, but that put her job in jeopardy. On Sept. 12 in Shelby County Criminal Court, her guilty plea was withdrawn and the case dismissed...
Norfleet, who had no criminal record, posted bond on the accessory charge and spent years without getting into trouble. She pleaded guilty August 12 to the charge, the lowest grade felony, and was placed on diversion. For diversion, if she continued staying out of trouble until August 2017, her record would be expunged. Then in September, after the issue with her job, the plea was withdrawn.
