Newborn hospitalized after being found in pile of trash in New Jersey
JERSEY CITY, N.J., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- A prematurely born baby found in a pile of trash in Jersey City, N.J., was hospitalized in stable condition Saturday night while police searched for the mother.

Wow----not even 3 pounds!
I hope they don't find the mother and this little 'fighter' gets a wonderful family that loves him/her.

He is sooooo tiny. And so strong. I have to believe this child is destined for something big, to make a contribution to this world. I agree with you all...hope he can be raised by people who allow and help him to shine in whatever way he is meant to.
