Cops investigate death of 2-year-old found in car in Shelby Twp.

Shelby Township — Police are trying to determine who was responsible for a 2-year-old boy who died Tuesday after being left unattended in a parked minivan for several hours outside his home.
The boy’s mother had gone to work at her job in Rochester on Tuesday, but it was unclear who was charged with the task of looking over the toddler, who was found unresponsive in a Dodge minivan just after 6 p.m., said Shelby Township Police Chief Roland Woelkers.
“It could have been a babysitter, the grandparents or the mother,” Woelkers said.
Police were called at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday to the 2000 block of Marmoor Drive to reports that the boy was unresponsive in a parked vehicle at a residence near Hamlin and Dequindre, a news release issued Tuesday says...
