"Toronto police have released pictures of two suspects in a violent summer home invasion that saw assailants allegedly threaten residents with a knife and punch an intervening neighbour in the nose.

Staff Inspector Mike Earl of the Toronto Police Hold-Up Squad said in a press statement on Tuesday that police are looking for a black male in his twenties and a black female in her twenties, seen in video surveillance with a long black and blonde ponytail.

Staff Inspector Earl says the victims are from the “vulnerable sector” and live in a Houselink community home dedicated to residents with mental illnesses.

“These individuals took advantage of that by committing this violent act,” said Staff Insp. Earl"
