Angie Daley's remains have been discovered. Sad, but I'm thankful her family will now begin to heal. http://www.fox43.com/news/wpmt-wayne...,6474651.story
"State police in Chambersburg said they found the body of Angie Daley on Monday in a wooded area off State Route 16 near the border of Washington and Antrim Townships.

Daley, of Waynesboro, disappeared in August of 1995 when she was 17.

A team of forensic anthropology investigators frpm Mercyhurst College in Erie helped recover the remains.

Forensic anthropologist Dr. Dennis Dirkmaat said the cause of Daley's death was blunt force trauma to the head. Investigators were able to identify Daley using dental records.

Police said they received information on the location of Daley's body while investigating the stabbing death of Kristy Hoke, of Hagerstown, Md.

Hoke's body was discovered early Monday morning in a wooded area in Waynesboro.

Police have charged Jeffrey Miles with her death, though they will not say if Miles is involved in the Daley case. "

snippet - this is a great article with a lot of information:

April 6, 2010, seemed like another normal day in Waynesboro — warm and sunny with no cloud in the sky.

A nightmare soon unfolded as local police were led to a wooded area off of East Ninth Street where the body of a 29-year-old Hagerstown woman was found stabbed to death. And they would soon learn that just four miles away, the remains of a missing Waynesboro teenager had lain undiscovered for 15 years.

Seventeen-year-old Angie Lynn Daley disappeared from Hawbaker Avenue on Aug. 24, 1995. Her family thought she had run away, but when they never heard from her, police were notified and they waited for answers. Police were led to Daley’s remains last April, and a forensic psychology team from Mercyhurst College in Erie spent three hours collecting them. She was identified by dental records and died of blunt force head trauma at the hands of another person.

The women’s families are constantly reminded of their tragic deaths, and no end seems in sight.

Jeffrey Eldon Miles Sr., 47, of State Line has been charged with criminal homicide in Hoke’s death. He reportedly admitted to the murder after he was found threatening suicide on an Interstate 81 overpass. Miles led police to Hoke’s body and they were later led to Daley’s remains. Miles has since pleaded not guilty to Hoke’s murder and awaits trial in May for the crime. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for April 15.

No one has been charged in connection with Daley’s death.

The defense team for Jeffrey E. Miles Sr., 50, recently asked for and received a continuance in his capital murder trial for the April 2010 stabbing death of a Hagerstown woman, Kristy Dawn Hoke. Miles also faces a trial in a separate case.

Miles also is charged with the 1995 beating death of Angie Lynn Daley, who was 17 when she was killed. Her skeletal remains were found the same day as Hoke’s on a farm between Waynesboro and Greencastle, Pa.

Angie Lynn Daley will be laid to rest Thursday, almost 18 years after she was murdered and three years after her remains were discovered at a farm in Waynecastle.

Miles is being held without bond in Franklin County Jails, awaiting trial on a first-degree murder charge in the 2010 stabbing death of Kristy Dawn Hoke of Hagerstown, whose body was found in a wooded area off Ninth Street in Waynesboro. Miles reportedly led police to Daley’s remains the same day Hoke’s body was found.

Jeffrey Miles pleads 'not guilty' to killing Angie Daley in 1995
By BETH ANNE HEESEN 12/05/2012 03:57:45 PM EST

Trooper Aaron Martin of Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, testified at a September hearing that he was investigating the Hoke case when he found a notebook that Miles had written in. The writings made reference to a 1995 killing but didn't mention any names, he said.

Martin showed Miles a picture of Daley, who had been missing from her home since Aug. 24, 1995.

Miles reportedly said he thought Daley was dead after hitting her with the board, placed the girl in the trunk of a car and drove to the field off Buchanan Trail East.

When Miles arrived there, he allegedly opened the trunk and Daley popped up. She said, "Please don't kill me," Martin said, and Miles related that he hit her in the head with the board two more times.

Jeffrey Miles, convicted of murdering Kristy Dawn Hoke, will face a trial for allegedly murdering Angie Lynn Daley, starting in September.

According to court documents, in a pretrial conference Tuesday afternoon Miles rejected a plea deal offered by the defense. The deal was to plead to first degree murder with a life sentence, which would have run concurrently to the life sentence he is already serving...

Trial is scheduled for Sept. 22 to Sept. 26, and Van Horn ruled that jury selection would begin Sept. 8.

Miles is facing a trial by jury this week after pleading not guilty to the murder of Waynesboro teenager Angie Daley, who went missing in August 1995 at the age of 17...

In his opening statement, Franklin County District Attorney Matt Fogal highlighted the fact that Miles led investigators to Daley's skeletal remains after confessing to the murder...

Prosecutors showed pictures from the area near Waynesboro and Greencastle where Daley's remains were found and presented a notebook owned by Miles in which he refers to killing "those who are chosen." Also presented as evidence by prosecutors were video recordings of Miles's confession to police. In that footage, he tells investigators that he used a 2x4 board to hit Daley in the head.

Judge Carol Van Horn declared a mistrial Tuesday morning in the second day of the homicide trial of Jeffrey E. Miles Sr...

"Inadvertent technological error that allowed improper information to come before the jury yesterday," Van Horn said as the reason for the mistrial. She stressed that the trial will be rescheduled to occur within the next couple of months.
