FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Authorities say a man fled from police while they were recovering a vehicle that could link them to a missing woman.

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are requesting the publics assistance in locating Marcella Anne Thompson, who was reported missing by her family on September 26, 2013. Marcella Thompson was last seen leaving her residence on September 23, 2013 at approximately 10:00 am and has not returned.
Marcella Thompson is described as a:
39 years of age
501, 108 pounds
Dark Brown Hair / Brown Eyes
Last seen wearing
o Pink T-Shirt
o Pajama Pants
If anyone has information concerning the whereabouts of Marcella Thompson, they are asked to contact detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1856.
Been checking here to see if they found her or the suspect and there is nothing. So sad.
