Sheriff's officials provided a closeup of what it looked like when they hauled it out of the canal. It's a white, 1982 limited edition corvette with custom rims and tinted windows. Deputies ran the plate and determined it's owner is Terrance Paul Beghin who has been missing and was last seen on November 1, 1986.

Investigators with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement say that night Terry, as he was called, left home and then an hour later called one of his roommates and asked him if he needed a ride home from work. Although the roommate said 'yes', Beghin never made it to pick him up.

They also say a search of where Beghin lived revealed that he only had the clothes he was wearing, only had $100 on him and that he was a diabetic and did not take his insulin with him that night. His family said he had to take it once a day and that he was always in close contact with them. At the time of his disappearance foul play was suspected.

No sign of a body so far.
