From the a.m. Costa Rica link:

The society said that the Canadian Embassy in Panamá investigated and determined that the man had crossed the Costa Rican border into Panamá Jan. 9, 2000, and did pick up the money from his mother that January 12th.

'I wish to enlist your help in finding our missing son, he was last
seen at the Costa Rica/Panama border at Pasa Canoa, Western Union
Office and has been missing for 4 years. He was going to spend some
time in Panama then travel on to South America. We have been looking
in Panama for a few years now but no luck. On our last visit to
Panama we ran into a couple from Costa Rica who thought they had seen
him there. He was also seen near Las Tablos, Panama last year, near
the beaches.

His name is Chad Eirikson, age 24, dirty blond hair, 5'11" thin. He
is Canadian. He has been working hotels and cafes in the past and
should be doing the same now.
I will be posting a photo soon on this site, waiting for a new
touched up version.
If you have heard this name, our know him please let us know, or the
local police.

Thanks

Larry'

Is he still missing? There's really not much information out there about this man

His page on the Missing Children Society of Canada has been removed..."This case has been closed and the page removed from the site"

Why has it been removed? Has it been solved?
