Question to sleuthers...
Do you think it would be helpful to submit these possibilities above to the Morristown PO?
:dunno:

.

James will be missing 6 years this week and he still is not listed in NamUs.
A couple of those suggestions would be automatic comparisons if James were entered into the database and if a dna sample is available to be submitted. And it's not known if there are any identifiers on James. Do the local authorities have any dental records, fingerprints or dna sample? Maybe start with that and whether his NamUs entry is in process and followup with the potential matches if it still makes sense.

Thanks KateB
I prepared the list in an email to the contact on the Morrison webpage when I made this post - I wasn't sure what to do with it - besides just send it to them :dunno:

But I will send it to them now and add that James McLeod is not listed in Namus.

I hope I get a reply.
I will post if any correspondence is exchanged and follow up with the details.

:seeya:

OK, so basically this was the email I sent with the submissions for consideration...

For the Attention of:
Missing Peron Unit – Re: James McLeod.

Hello,
Thank-you for your time.
I have compiled a list of possible matches for Missing Person James McLeod from a search on the NAMUS Database for Unidentified People.
The lists consists of UID persons who have a profile similarity with Mr McLeod – though many of the UID profiles do not have a picture (with the exception of 1 person), they do have some identifying markers which may help in a match such as; Fingerprints, Dental Charting and DNA submissions.

I could not find Mr McLeod’s profile on the NAMUS Database, but did find him listed on your Missing Persons Page.

The list below may not contain all the possible matches available, but I narrowed the Search criteria with the information available from Mr McLeods Profile data.
I hope this small amount of UID possible matches may be helpful in some way.

Kind Regards

Anyone know if James is still missing or not? He has an NAMPN profile, but he's still not listed on NaMus, evidently someone named James McLeod had a Charley Project profile at one point (can't view it now) [http://www.charleyproject.org/updates/11-11.html], and I don't see him listed on the Morris County MP site currently, but it appears he was there previously.

I also found a site that listed a James McLeod selling a Morristown place, and apparently this selling happened in December 2014, though that could be coincidence.
