Police Sgt. Phil Misek said it's unknown how many people were fighting, but police closed almost the entire block between Commerce and Blum streets.

We are not having many good omens for 2014 lately. I'm hoping it will be better soon. Wish people would not be so quick to quarrel, fight and shoot.
