Suspect moved to NY last year. Has now been indicted and charged with first degree murder of Sharon McWhorter. Ms Mcwhorter was slain in 1986.

If they knew, 3 years ago, that he had killed her and where he was, why didn't they get him then????

yea, what were they waiting for?? to see if he tried to kill anyone else?
did they say what took so long for the DNA? and where did they get the DNA?

It would appear that this murder is still considered open and unsolved. George McCloud was tried and acquitted of the murder of Sharon McWhorter.

How do you acquit someone when the root of a hair has enough DNA to match? I took the article linked in post #5, snipped it and turned it into a PDF file. I wonder where else they've found his DNA over the years.
