James Smith, 48, was last seen Sunday night when he left his girlfriend's house. Police said Smith has a hard time walking and suffers from chronic pain and depression.

Height - 6'
Weight - 170 lbs.

Missing Person: James White SMITH, W/M, DOB of 07/14/1965 (48), 6'0" tall, 170 lbs. Smith was last seen wearing an orange shirt and black dress shorts. He has a burn scar around his neck and has difficulty walking without assistance.

Smith was last seen on Sunday, evening December 8th at around 9:00 p.m. when he left his girlfriend's residence in the area of 45th Avenue North and 15th Street in his car. Smith's family and friends became concerned when they could not reach him by phone the following day and went to his residence in the area of 47th Avenue North and 6th Street to check on him. The residence was found locked and secured along with his car, but there were no signs of Smith or any indication of where he had gone. Smith's personal belongings, such as his wallet, cell phone, walking cane and medications, were left behind. Checks of local hospitals and jails met with negative results. Smith suffers from chronic pain and depression and has been hospitalized for those issues in the past. He may be hospitalized under an assumed name.

Anyone who might have information on Mr. White's whereabouts is asked to call the St. Petersburg Police at 727-893-7780.
