Franc Cano, 27, an Anaheim transient who pleaded guilty in 2007 to a lewd act with a minor, and Steven Dean Gordon, 45, also a convicted sex offender, were arrested Friday evening.
They are expected to be arraigned early next week, each on four counts of murder.
The men were booked on suspicion of killing four women, including 21-year-old Jarrae Nykkole Estepp, a Modesto resident whose unclothed body was found March 14 on a conveyor belt at a recycling plant in Anaheim.
