Robert Cain, 53, was last seen walking away from his home on November 11th, 2013. His family stated that Cain has left before, but never this long. As of this date of December 18th, 2013, Copiah County investigators have officially classified his case as a missing person's case.

From Family worries about fate of missing man

The family admitted Cain has wandered away before, but he has never been gone as long. They worry something is wrong.

"Some people say they think he got in a car with a woman. They don't know. Don't nobody know," Ford said.

More than 200 people, including volunteers, and state and local emergency officials, spent hours Friday searching more than 200 acres for Cain.

Family members said they found a red shirt that they believe Cain was wearing when he disappeared.

"I feel like if some of his clothes are in there and cigarettes, he has got to be in there somewhere," Ford said.

The ground search is now in the hands of relatives. Emergency officials said they're no longer searching for him because they don't believe he is in the area.

Search on for missing Copiah County man

Robert Cain was last seen near his home at 1144 Cain Road, county officials said. Cain suffers from high blood pressure and was not dressed for the cold weather, authorities said.

Cain is described as an African-American man, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 156 pounds
