Neveah's Memory Alive at Christmas Party 2013
Memory Of Nevaeh Buchanan Kept Alive At Christmas Party

But the four to five parties that are held each year in Nevaeh Buchanan’s memory, in hopes of providing a fun activity for Monroe area children and reminding people of the efforts to continue the investigation, draw so many new and returning families that they are often “full house” events with reservations closing days in advance. This event included “Nevaeh’s Secret Santa Shop,” where small stuffed animals, dolls and other children’s toys were displayed on tables. These toys were intended for families who had no gifts to provide for their children this Christmas, a number that the committee leaders estimated at about half of the families in attendance.Given the shouts, giggles and laughs that came from the children even as the party neared closing time, the event was a hit.
Four or five parties a year! What a wonderful way to keep Neveah's memory alive. Thank you and good tidings, Justice for Neveah. This article brought me real Christmas cheer.__________________________________
