Height - 6'
Weight - 170 lbs.
Cortez has short black hair and brown eyes.

Jose “Anthony” Cortez was last seen in the area of 6th Way in Interlachen, Putnam County, Florida on Monday December 23, 2013 at approximately 10:00 am by his family. Cortez has not been seen or heard from since that date and time. His family is concerned for his well being. Jose Anthony Cortez
Jose Anthony Cortez was last seen on December 23 at approximately 10 a.m. by his family in Putnam County. He was in the area of 6th Way in Interlachen and was believed to be going to the area of 5th Way in Interlachen. Foul play is suspected.

If you have information regarding his whereabouts please contact Putnam County Sheriff’s Detective Nicole Thomas at 386-329-0801.

If you wish to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477). You may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the location of Cortez.

Jose "Anthony" Cortez, 35, was last seen in the area of Sixth Way in Interlachen at about 10 a.m. Dec. 23. Deputies said his remains were found buried in a rural and isolated area near Royal Way, slightly west of Interlachen.

Detectives said they have long suspected that Cortez was killed just after his disappearance, and the discovery of his body was made possible from information received from the ongoing investigation.
