Deputies looking for runaways, including diabetic girl without meds

WELD COUNTY, Colo. ó Authorities in Weld County are looking for a group of teenagers, including a 15-year-old diabetic girl who has been without her medication since Monday, who ran away from their homes in Wisconsin.
The group was spotted in Morgan and Logan counties in a stolen car on Thursday, said Weld County Sheriff John B. Cooke.
Deputies in those counties chased the car but gave up the pursuit near Keenesburg, Cooke said.
Authorities later found their vehicle abandoned in Roggen. Inside was Breanna Gomezís insulin medication, he said.

WELD COUNTY, Colo. (ABC 7 NEWS DENVER)- Law enforcement officers across Colorado are searching for a 15-year-old runaway from Wisconsin. They say she's been involved in a Colorado crime spree involving a police chase and a stolen vehicle.

Breanna Gomez ran away on Monday evening from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

A Denver news station reports that CBI said Gomez was in a stolen vehicle that was chased Thursday night by Washington and Morgan County authorities.

The stolen vehicle was found abandoned and a minivan was reported stolen in Roggen, Colorado.

Very precarious position to be in without insulin, especially if she takes it 5 times a day.

These guys don't seem to be the caring type. I hope she wakes up to herself before she goes into a coma.
I wouldn't be relying on them for any medical assistance. They would only be looking after their own butts.

    Hope she is found soon.

Uhhh....a prescription is NOT required for either older insulins or syringes in most states including Colorado. Going with an old school insulin might not be what she is used to but it certainly could keep her alive.

Course she may not know that and that could mean her car stealing days are over. Oh well.

She would have to commit another crime to pay for the insulin. Like a robbery maybe. MOO
