I didn't see a thread for this UP so figured I'd start one (https://identifyus.org/en/cases/11728).


The body was mummified so had presumably been there a while and there is a note that it was "highly likely she had given birth to at least one child". The property where she was found looks like it's abandoned (http://goo.gl/maps/SdOYn).


I looked but couldn't turn up any articles or further information.

Not a lot of information...was she found in the house? In the building?

Interesting case, not on Doe Net yet, I know that area of Schaffer, by Plymouth and just for reference here is the house she was found at, still there

I hope they identify her, but a lot of people go missing around here and being from Detroit my whole life Drugs and Prostitution are huge here and people put themselves in bad situations.

Tisha Renee Morgan missing fm Detroit since June 2013 - timeline short I think The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Audrey Marie Nelson missing since mid-2012. Last seen walking to a Detroit bus stop at W. 7 Mile Rd & Pierson (seems from google maps to be quite near where this UID was found). Fits age and height. Not sure about hair length www.namus.gov/MissingPersons/Case#/27846?nav

She seems like a good potential match to me. Her hair appears long in her pics (probably posted red x's). Everything fits, imo. Send it in!

A woman’s mummified remains were discovered in a vacant Detroit home nine years ago.

DETROIT – A woman’s mummified remains were discovered in a vacant Detroit home nine years ago.

Her remains were found on Oct. 28, 2013. She is believed to have been Black and between 30 to 50 years old. Officials estimate that she was 5′5′' tall.

She had black hair that appeared to be “somewhat long in length.”

Her finger nails and toe nails were groomed, neatly trimmed and unpolished.

She may have had a yellow shirt on.

Anyone with any information should contact Detroit police at 313-596-1800.
