IN - Kathryn McGill, 31, Daviess County, 29 Dec 2013

Kathryn McGill is a 31 year old woman who hasn't been seen since 7:45 am Sunday, December 29th, 2013, when she was in a car accident with her husband. The vehicle that she was in was swept off the roadway in flood-waters on Highway 257, near the Pike County and Daviess County line in Indiana. McGill's husband, Adam, was rescued, but Kathryn has not been yet.

A water based search effort will conclude at dusk and begin again Monday morning.

Oh now! How scary! Her husband must be so worried. I hope Kathryn is found okay and soon.

Sometimes these news organizations where I get most of my case information from really drive me crazy with the little facts that can't quite seem to be agreed upon or verified. This article http://www.tristatehomepage.com/stor...9EiSEbL3PjqfaA has her name spelled as Catie McGill. Katie, Kathryn, Cathryn...how ever it's spelled, we hope you're found soon. We're all thinking about you.

Fifth Day of Search Turns Up Truck But No Missing Woman

Crews on Thursday were finally able to extract the truck a Des Plaines couple was in when it was swept away by floodwaters in southwestern Indiana last weekend.

Still, there was no sign of 31-year-old Cathryn McGill...

The couple was heading to Norfolk, Va., where Adam McGill is stationed with the Navy.

That happened not far from me. People really need to keep the "Turn around. Don't drown." in mind. I think we will have alot of flooding this spring when all the snow and ice melts.
