Local mother of three still missing

Ashley Morris Mullis disappeared 99 days ago. Not once in those 14-plus weeks have family members, friends or — perhaps most disturbing — her three young children heard from her...

Family members said Mullis was last seen by a friend at a Muncie nail salon Sept. 19...

Detectives have also “spoke with everybody involved” about Mullis’ disappearance, and have searched the residences of her boyfriend and her estranged husband for possible clues, Walthour said. Those searches have turned up no clues.

Family Of Missing Muncie Woman Needs Help

Ashley Morris Mullis has been missing more than 100 days. Debbie Sidwell, her aunt, says when Mullis disappeared, she left the children, aged 5, 2 and a newborn, behind with their fathers.
Police are still investigating whether foul play is involved.

Ashley Morris-Mullis hasn't been seen since last September when she disappeared in Muncie.

Nearly nine months after she disappeared, Mullis' family still has no answers about where she could be. The young mother's family members say she would never have left her young children - ages 5, 2 and a newborn - behind.

More than 100 of the Mullis' family and friends gathered outside the Muncie Police Department Thursday night to pray tonight for Mullis' safe return or to get answers to bring some kind of finality to a family's never ending pain...

"She did not just walk away. She did not walk away," a family friend told the crowd gathered.

From the missing page, a flyer handed out at the vigil. Very interesting comments:

Actually, there's quite a bit of interesting info on the missing page.

Okay, well, I guess somebody raised a stink because the post linked above has been deleted.

There was another young woman rom Muncie, Heather Musick, who was found dead after a motel fire back in 2010. Heather's body was found in a room rented by someone else, and that person lawyered up shortly afterward.

That lawyered-up person was also the last person seen with Ashley before she disappeared, according to Ashley's family. I probably should say no more at this point, so go read:

This young mom has been missing for almost nine months now, it's hard to tell if LE is doing much investigating, and there's almost nothing about her out there in MSM. Her family needs some answers.

I wondered what ever became of that. This is the first i have ever heard of this case. Not alot of info that i can really find besides what is already posted.

I don't know much about this story, just researching now but i am reading on the FB page and it seems this man's father was driving her car around...

This is so sad. Looking at the facebook page it seems her dad stands on the street with posters of his daughter every Sunday. My thoughts are with this family and I will keep my eye out for her in Louisville, Ky. :candle:

It seems at least 9 other people went missing from the area in a year's time. Some articles on this:
This is Ashley Morris Mullis of Muncie, Indiana. She was last seen on September 19th, 2013. She is 5’6″, weighs 115 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes. As you can see, she undeniably shares features and characteristics with the other missing ladies.

The disappearances have also raised concerns about a possible connection to other missing person cases in the area.

While there is no evidence suggesting any of the cases are linked, the similarities have piqued the curiosity of locals and investigators.

Please take a few moments to read each of the cases below. If you recognize one of them, help end a family's uncertainty by contacting the appropriate law enforcement agency.

That is an awful lot of missing,

For anyone interested in the disappearance of Ashley Morris Mullis, send a friend request to her father Don Morris on Facebook. This poor man really needs some help. The family seems to feel that the police are not being very helpful at all and that no one cares. His daughter Ashley has 3 children who miss their mother. He wants to know what happened to her. If anyone can help this man please do.

Missing woman’s parents increase reward

After an emotional appeal for information about the fate of their missing daughter failed, a Muncie couple is now hoping cold, hard cash will break someone’s silence.

The parents of Ashley Morris Mullis, who has been missing since September 2013, have increased to $10,000 the reward for information leading to the recovery of their daughter, a 27-year-old mother of three young children when she disappeared.

It’s not as if Don and Leandra Morris are wealthy. But they are desperate for answers.

“We went from $1,000 to $10,000 for the reward,” Don Morris told The Star Press. “I had somebody up the reward, but they didn’t want their name mentioned.”

"Years Later, Father Still Stands on Street Corners Looking for Daughter Ashley Morris"

They say a father's love is unending. That's certainly true for Don Morris, who was days shy of his fiftieth birthday when his 28-year-old daughter Ashley Morris Mullis disappeared from Muncie, Indiana in September of 2013.

Though nearly two years have passed, Don can still be seen every Sunday, standing on a local street corner with handmade posters, displaying information about daughter.

Despite the nearly two years since Ashley disappeared, Detective Wathour says the investigation is ongoing.

"We were out until midnight on that case [recently]. We still get tips all the time," said Detective Wathour.

If anyone is interested go on youtube and watch the video "Ashley Morris Mullis Missing from Muncie, IN" posted by Real Talk with Tamara. I wont post a link but you can easily look it up. IT IS VERY INTERESTING AND A MUST LISTEN TO!!!!

The man believed to be the father of Ashley's youngest child was raising the baby with his wife ( yes he was married to another woman) somewhere in Florida. Don wanted DNA testing to figure out if the man was actually the father of Ashley's baby, because the man was much older than Ashley and after Ashley disappeared, he boxed up her stuff, got rid of it and then he took the baby and headed to Florida. I have since learned that the man is dead now. The child is still being raised by the deceased man's wife and the Morris family gets an occasional photo as far as I can see on FB. If you watch the video on youtube post comments please. I'm hoping to find some websleuths who really can help the Morris family.

Although efforts continue, authorities have not yet identified — or determined the gender of — a body found in late November along railroad tracks in rural southern Delaware County.

The mostly-skeletal human remains were found by railroad maintenance workers on Nov. 28...

The discovery of the body prompted several people to contact The Star Press about missing persons. The parents of Ashley Morris Mullis, a young mother of three missing since September 2013, were among those seeking more information.

Came here looking at all the missing people in Indiana. Following the Delphi case. So saddened to see only 2 threads :-(
Cannot imagine what the family is going through. I lost my son 2 years ago but at least I know where he is. I hope answers come soon for everyone. Sending love.
