    SC - Kenneth Lowe, 40, Spartanburg, 4 Jan 2014

    Kenneth Chad Lowe

Kenneth Chad Lowe, 40, is a missing person from Spartanburg, South Carolina who was last seen when he left work on Saturday, January 4th, 2014. His family is worried about his well-being due to the cold temperatures and because he does not have the necessary medication with him. As a result, may be experiencing some mental confusion. When Lowe's family showed up at his place of residence looking for him, the kitchen window was open and the stove was left on. Lowe’s vehicle was not at the home either.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

The 10 days that have passed since a 40-year-old Chesnee man was reported missing have felt like an eternity to family members.

“It seems like forever. ... I just want to be able to tell him I love him,” said Barry Edge, the stepfather of Kenneth Chad Lowe.

I saw on the news earlier, when the men found remains and Mr. Lowe was the first person I thought of. I hope they find the cause of death since he just walked away. I wish his family peace now.

BBM. Same here, sophiebelle. Guess we were right.

My husband works with a guy that knows his family. My heart and condolences go out to them. Not a happy ending, but now they know where he is and they can give him a proper burial and grieve for him.

Rest in peace, Kenneth Chad Lowe.

I live just a few miles from this area. I thought of him when I went that way, and knew he had to be around there somewhere. That thought made me sad.

Lowe went missing on Jan. 4. The sheriff's office said at the time he may have stopped taking medication which resulted in confusion.
    Just thought I'd highlight that.
